Ancestral Sutra

This work was inspired by reflections on the origins of the Mongolian people. The Secret History of the Mongols begins with the story of Börte Chino (the Blue Wolf) and Gua Maral (the Beautiful Doe), who crossed the great seas and came to dwell at Burkhan Khaldun, where their descendants began. I often wonder: From where did they come after crossing those vast waters? Were they merely ancestors of a people, or symbols of a deeper journey that connects humanity to its origins? This painting captures a moment of connection between a human being and the wisdom of their ancestors. I believe that through intuition, dreams, and higher consciousness, we remain connected to those who came before us. Their guidance continues to flow across generations, offering teachings, direction, and insight for the path of life. Celestial Sutra is a reflection on that invisible connection—a quiet moment in which the voice of the ancestors, carried through time, may still be heard by those willing to listen.
