“ The Nine Aspirations “ series Aspiration for Knowledge and Wisdom,

I have always been fascinated by and deeply respectful of the blessings contained within the traditional Mongolian Nine White Aspirations. For this reason, I often draw inspiration from them and incorporate their words into my calligraphic works. This piece features the Aspiration for Knowledge and Wisdom, one of the first aspirations within the Nine White Aspirations. “May your mind be vast as the ocean,
May wisdom dwell within your heart,
May you become the master of your own seat and destiny,
And may you cherish the highest teachings and blessings.” This blessing encourages the pursuit of knowledge, wisdom, and moral virtue. It expresses the hope that one may become the master of one’s own mind and character
